MASS DEMP

Emerging artist, Masterson Ursem Dempsey was born November 18th, 1992 in Cleveland, Ohio. His father passed away due to addictions, so since infancy, he was raised by his single-mother in Tampa, Florida. Currently, he resides in Kansas City, MO. Music lives deep within his soul. He grew up steeped in a musical household. Masterson has been performing on stages since age three. He emanates a widely ranging diverse sound, crossing the influences of most genres and spanning many generations. However, in his youth his focal point became Hip-Hop. A burning desire to preform led him to pick up the acoustic guitar and to perfect his craft as a professional DJ. The consistent flow of blending beats, exposure to hits, and his reach of varying audiences gave him a unique musician’s edge at crafting his own sound. Scholastically, Masterson was selected to be both his high-school poet-laureate and college Valedictorian graduation speaker. Both speeches included unprecedented, ground-breaking poetic rap performances. Ultimately, he bloomed as an original creative himself. During the COVID-19 pandemic, his metamorphosis resulted in the artist: MASS DEMP. To date he has independently released six full-length studio albums: Mass Bangers, Wild Awaiting, Delinquent Saint, Southern’s Hit, Más Taysty, and Mass Greatness. He is on a hot-streak of releasing new piece of music monthly all 2023, most recently came his debut EP Better Bites. Always creating, his next projects are currently in development as well.
